CBE STAFF TOUR FROM IGANZO, MBEYA TO MAGOROTO, TANGA

A Journey of Togetherness, Leadership, and Team-Building

The journey began with great excitement on the first day as CBE staff from the Iganzo campus in Mbeya boarded a bus heading to Magoroto, Tanga. The trip was filled with laughter, conversations, and a sense of anticipation as colleagues looked forward to the days ahead. Along the way, the team enjoyed the scenic beauty of Tanzania, from the rolling hills of the southern highlands to the coastal landscapes leading toward Tanga. It was not just a road trip but an opportunity for staff to bond, share experiences, and create memories that would strengthen their teamwork and spirit as they embarked on this special tour.

On the second day, the highlight of the trip was a group photo session at Magoroto with the top leadership of CBE. The Rector, Prof. Edda Tandi Lwoga, along with the Deputy Rector for Academic, Research and Consultancy (ARC), Prof. Robert Galan Mashenene and the Deputy Rector for Planning, Finance and Administration (PFA), Prof. Emmanuel Munishi joined the staff in capturing this memorable moment. The photographs reflected not only the unity between staff and management but also the shared commitment to the growth and success of CBE. Smiles, cheerful poses, and the beautiful backdrop of Magoroto made the photo session a memorable occasion that highlighted the strong bond between leadership and staff.

Later on the same day, the team engaged in a variety of fun and interactive activities organized at Magoroto. Staff members participated in nature walks, team-building exercises, and recreational games that encouraged collaboration and strengthened relationships. The environment, surrounded by lush greenery and fresh mountain air, provided the perfect setting for relaxation and enjoyment. These activities were more than just entertainment—they fostered teamwork, built trust among colleagues, and offered everyone a refreshing break from daily routines. By the end of the day, the CBE staff felt not only rejuvenated but also more connected as a family working toward common goals.
