2024 MAY DAY CELEBRATIONS AT CBE MBEYA CAMPUS

The College of Business Education (CBE) Mbeya Campus has joined workers worldwide in commemorating International Workers' Day (May Day). These celebrations take place on May 1st every year, and for the Mbeya Region, they were held at Mpuguso grounds in the Rungwe district.

The festivities, accompanied by workers' marches, were followed by a brief ceremony where CBE employees were awarded certificates for outstanding performance in various departments. This event took place in Mbeya Town, where Mr. Amos Mwasota was announced as the overall best employee of Mbeya Campus.

In concluding the certificate awarding ceremony, the Director of the College of Business Education, Mbeya Campus, Mr. Jeremiah W. Tumaini, urged the workers to continue working diligently and to maintain unity, solidarity, and love throughout their service.

The theme for this year's May Day celebrations is "Salary Increase is the Foundation of Better Benefits and Protection against Hardship."
