The Zonal Manager of the Tanzania Posts Corporation for the Southern Highlands Zone, Mr. Michael Mwanachuo, who is also a graduate of the College of Business Education (CBE), stated that during his studies at CBE, he gained more than classroom education. He acquired skills that significantly contributed to his career growth.
Mr. Mwanachuo shared these remarks today, November 29, 2024, while delivering his speech as the Guest of Honor at the Academic Symposium held at the CBE Mbeya Campus. The event was attended by the college leadership, graduates, lecturers, student government officials, and students from neighboring secondary schools.
“I joined CBE while already employed. I learned more than just classroom lessons. Upon completing my studies, my employer recognized that I had gained something valuable. I was promoted from Senior Officer for Dodoma Region to now being the Regional Manager overseeing five regions. I assure you, students, that you are in the right place,” said Mr. Mwanachuo.
On his part, the Deputy Rector (Academic, Research, and Consultancy), Dr. Nasibu Mramba, stated that the purpose of the Academic Symposium is to connect graduates, current students, and their lecturers to share experiences and build networks.
“The second goal of the symposium is to reward outstanding students who have excelled in various areas in the current academic year. For those of you continuing with your studies, this symposium should inspire you to perform even better,” said Dr. Mramba.
