Campus Director at 2024 Convocation

The Campus Director of the College of Business Education (CBE) Mbeya Campus, Mr. Jeremiah Tumaini, welcomed guests to the Academic Symposium held today, November 29, 2024, at the Mbeya Campus.

Jeremiah mentioned that the college had organized various training sessions over four days leading up to the symposium. These included training for entrepreneurs from Sokomatola Market and Academic Officers from secondary schools in Mbeya City, benefiting a total of over 400 entrepreneurs.

He also discussed the purpose of the Business Incubation Program, stating that its aim is to change the mindset of young people by enabling them to gain hands-on business experience while still students. This experience helps them to become self-employed and to employ others after completing their studies.

The Mbeya Campus is set to host its students on November 30, 2024, with the symposium serving as an important part of the preparations for the campus’s 11th Graduation Ceremony.
